Happy Cinco de Mayo to our friends at the Village of St. Peter’s in Pleasantville! Angelic Health was there to help celebrate with karaoke, Mexican food favorites and lots of fun on this May the 5th.
Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration held on May 5 to celebrate Mexico's victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, led by General Ignacio Zaragoza. It has come to be a day to acknowledge Mexican heritage, and enjoy the food, drink and the festive nature of the Mexican culture. Angelic Health often sponsors activities in our partner facilities and organizations, to bring people together in joy. A great time was had by all! Featuring music by DJ Steve Gallagher and delicious food by his wife and our wonderful Social Worker Shalini Basu.
