Angelic Health Connections Podcast on Spotify

In this episode of Connections with Angelic Health Fred Ruggiano, spiritual care counselor explains spiritual care and how it serves all patients and their families regardless of their religion or faith. It is a safe space for non-judgmental conversation where the patient can share their feelings, concerns, and wishes.
Ruggiano has many years of experience as both a pastor and a hospice chaplain. He uses this experience as well as his penchant for making music to serve the spiritual needs of hospice patients. He finds that music improves mood, often leads to great conversations and comfort as they make peace with their mortality.
In this episode we explore how spiritual care counseling is driven by the needs of the patient. While some will prefer only someone to talk with, others may want prayer, scripture reaching for other faith-based practices. As with all hospice services, it is customized to meet the needs of the individual.
Connections with Angelic Health is hosted by Angelic Health's Director of Public Relations Margie Barham.
